“Life-style” Portraiture

I offer fun, informal portrait shoots for children, teens, families, couples and individuals.

My aim is to capture beautiful but natural images of you and your children that reflects your true individuality, and to produce a treasured record.

My approach is relaxed, unobtrusive reportage with the minimum of direction or posing. During any session I will produce a full range of images, from individual portraits to family groups, and combinations of you with your children and siblings together. I will take part in your family activities and play and engage with your children. I will also stand back and observe. Almost all of my sessions take place in and around your home and/or a location special to you like a garden, park or wood*. When you look at your photographs, I want you to recall it as relaxed fun and spontaneous time as a family rather than a photo shoot. This is a one hour photographic session and includes my travel costs to location* and all editing. 20 beautifully edited images are included and presented as high resolution, print ready files. £150

Professional hair and make up can be added for around £40

Maternity & New Born Photography

Using your home environment as the background for the images captures your families uniqueness perfectly. I appreciate that family dynamics are different, if your family consists of Mummy & baby or Daddy & baby or if your baby has two Mummies or two Daddies I dont discriminate; everyone is welcome. I think it’s important to capture those intense moments of love and emotion as they happen; something that cant be forced and far too precious to miss.I always allow at least an hour for Newborn shoots, giving plenty of time to settle your new baby (lets face it having a routine at just a few days old is pretty unrealistic). My approach is therefore flexible and gentle.

I know only too well how these precious early days are often lost to a blur of sleep deprivation! Photography is a way of capturing this narrow slice of time.

Travel* plus 5 beautifully edited and print-ready image are included. £150.

I also do Family "Mini session" which take around 20 minutes and include 3 edited images at just £45. Call for more details and dates.
