Cancer sucks!

Charlotte battled malignant Melanoma 10 years ago and now she's facing the fight again. Her cancer is genetic, there is no cure but she has options to help her beat it again. Charlotte decided to donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children fighting cancer. My own daughter was gifted a wig from The Little Princess Trust when she was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2005. Charlotte is strong and she has wonderful people to support her. Charlotte's hair will grown back in time and I'm looking forward to doing another photo session for her to celebrate that!

The head shave took place in accordance with Covid regulations, which was exceptionally difficult for all involved as at times like this all you want to do is hug your loved ones...

(Charlotte did have to remove her mask towards the end of the shave as she found it claustrophobic)
