A little personal indulgence, as I share the images from our recent family holiday in Ibiza. It was amazing! We stayed in a beautiful little white villa called Casa Karma deep in the pine forest. The fabulous pool area with its curtained day-beds was literally right in front of the villa; and we stepped out every morning into a little bit of Balinese paradise. The Dutch couple who own the villas, have the most amazing taste and no expense has been spared. Their attention to detail was evident everywhere, even down to the living bamboo screening round the pool-side shower and the wonderful hand-painted parasols over the day-beds. The sun shone every day and we spent most of them relaxing by the pool in blissful isolation whilst the other guests explored the island. When we did venture out, it was a gentle 10 minute stroll to the pretty beach of Cala Nova, with its selection of hip restaurants and chiringuitos. Blanco soon became our favorite place; you could eat delicious food with your toes in the sand whilst listening to live soul-funk. Back at the villa we spent evenings sprawled on the private sofas in our "outside" lounge, star gazing with a tipple. Sublime.
