Chris & Lobke met 17 years ago; they have three gorgeous daughters, they both have rewarding careers and a beautiful home.... they have waited a long time for this!! It was worth the wait. Lobke got ready at Weetwood Hall with her Mum by her side. Lobke did her own make up and her lovely friend, Claire, came to do hair. When I arrived Lobke showed me the present her groom, Chris had surprised her with, a fabulous set of underwear ..... this was a total surprise too as Chris has never done anything like this before! Well done Chris! Around 12 noon, the girls, Skye, Lola and Maisie arrived. There was much hugging, kissing and jumping on beds ! The girls are delightful, taking me downstairs to see all the pretty things in the ceremony room and then they settled down in the hotel room while Mummy got ready. When it came to the girls getting ready, Maisie was not too keen on having her hair plaited and Lola put on her little sisters dress by mistake and got stuck in it!! Big sister, Skye took it all in her stride. Lobke's brother and his family traveled from Holland so that he could give his sister away at the lovely, intimate ceremony. Skye, Lola and Maisie looked so pretty walking down the aisle each with a little posy of flowers. Lola and Maisie carried signs with cute sayings. Everyone's emotions where high as Chris and Lobke said their vows and exchanged rings. Chris finally lost it at the signing of the register, when his girls came to give him a hug, it was a lovely moment. After the ceremony there was just enough time for the throwing of confetti and some pictures with the Bride and Groom. Then it was time for wedding breakfast. The room looked stunning with hand-made decorations, Lobke had even made the Bride and Groom on top of the naked cake. There were no formal speeches, Chris just thanked their family for sharing the day with them and told his new wife how beautiful she is. Later on the evening guests arrived followed by the cutting of the cake and much dancing into the small hours.
Thank you so much for choosing me to capture your wedding day, it was privilege and an honour xXx
