“I DON’T HAVE A CLUE WHAT TO WEAR …….!!" some tips and advice for your photo-shoot .....
LOGOS ON CLOTHING – Try to avoid large logos as these tend to be distracting. Patterns are best kept simple, however if you love wearing big bold patterns, do it!
CO-ORDINATE – How about having a little bit of the same colour in each outfit? Someone has a red t.shirt, someone has red trainers, someone else has red socks …?? Bright colours can make a picture really pop!
THE WEATHER – Clothing colours that compliment the seasons can be wonderful. But if it’s chilly, wrap up warm and if it’s raining get the wellies out. Be comfortable!
ACCESSORIES – Hats, jewellery, throws, blankets, teddies, fairy wings, dogs …. All very welcome
“WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY HANDS ….??”
My aim is to capture beautiful, natural images of you and your children that reflect your true individuality, and to produce a treasured record.
My approach is relaxed, unobtrusive reportage with the minimum of direction or posing. No one needs to smile on demand! I will offer gentle direction. I will take part in your family activities and play and engage with your children. I will also stand back and observe. During any session I will produce a full range of images, from individual portraits to family groups, and combinations of you with your children and siblings together. When you look at your photographs, I want you to recall it as relaxed fun and spontaneous time as a family rather than a photo shoot.
See you soon.
